The world we live in sometimes makes us feel as though only the young can be beautiful – but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Ladies and gentlemen, please meet Daphne Selfe. The stunning 86-year-old –from Baldock, Hertfordshire in the UK– is the world’s oldest supermodel. She’s appeared in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Vanity Fair, only to name a few.
 
Her latest campaign for Vans & Other Stories came out a couple of months ago and sees her rocking the footwear alongside 22-year-old Flo Dron.
 
The graceful beauty began her modeling career in 1949. She once said, “the Fifties was the best time to be a model because the clothes were so lovely”.
 
The best thing about Daphne is that she’s never had surgery nor botox and that she enjoys keeping her hair grey. Aging gracefully is her mission – and we’ve got to hand it to her: mission accomplished.
