Fondazione Prada was infused today with a charming golden glow alongside a vibrant geometric pattern – all of which set the vibe for the Spring-Summer 2020 show. And for said season, Miuccia Prada explored the psychedelics of geometric patterns and channeled them onto the wardrobe of a working hero. The result? Colorful double-breasted blazers and bold buttons contrasting with discrete midi skirts and heeled loafers. But that wasn’t the only thing that made us go gaga over the new collection. The designer sent out models in colorful bucket hats and chunky necklaces – accessories that complemented a series of metallic ensembles, classic fluid dresses and a hoard of joyful printed sets. A certain leaf pattern was found radiating a few numbers, such as a fabulously tailored orange coat that raised more than a few eyebrows. Leather ensembles were obviously a thing and so were flatforms and leather knee-high boots. Discrete yet playfully daring.
