Anyone familiar with Boucheron –the French jewelry house founded in1858 by Frederic Boucheron– must have noticed that the pansy has been its icon since 1875. Over the decades, the symbolic flower has been reinvented and immortalized in Boucheron’s historic archives. It has been featured in countless collections and has been worn by some of the most sophisticated women.
This year, for its latest line entitled Pensée de Diamants, Boucheron has chosen to commemorate the bloom and has incorporated it into each one of its jewels. The pansy-shaped necklaces, rings and studs all include diamonds, which have been inset using prong settings.
The collection’s name, which translates as “Diamond Thoughts”, bears the romantic message: “I am thinking about you”. The jewels consequently make the ideal gift for a loved one.
