Whether you’re more into skiing, snowboarding or snowblading, there’s one thing everyone can agree on: Après-ski(post ski time)is just as important as the time spent on the slopes. After a hard day of exercise, a bit of comfort and entertainment is crucial.
Here are our 5 favorite ski resorts that have it all.
 

Meribel, France
With its incredible beginners-to-experts slopes, family-friendly vibe and amazing nightlife, Meribel is quite the catch. The wood-clad chalet architecture of the region is also rather charming.  We highly recommend that you book yourself a room at the five-star Hôtel Le Kaïla, and check out their incredible spa!


 


Courchevel, France
This prestigious resort is where you’ll spot most of the French celebrities skiing away. Just like Meribel, the slopes are adapted to every level. The city is filled with delicious restaurants and buzzing clubs. If you’re looking for a premium experience, check in at the Manali hotel and dine at the two-Michelin star Chabichou restaurant.


 


Aspen, USA
Want to spot half of Hollywood wearing ski boots? Aspen is your best bet. This breath-taking resort located in Colorado offers great skiing and fancy restaurants. Stay either at The Little Nell or the St Regis hotel, as both are absolutely magnificent.




 
Zermatt, Switzerland
This car-free town looks like a living post-card. We especially recommend Zermatt for families looking for a charming escape. If you’re into grand interiors, stay at the Mont Cervin Palace. If you prefer minimalist luxury, then The Omnia is right up your alley. Either way, Zermatt will treat you well.
 




Lech, Austria
Join European royalty on the slopes this winter. This charming resort is very old-fashioned –so don’t expect to bump into any reality TV stars here. Instead, mingle with noble blood over some delicious food at the award-winning Kilian Stuba restaurant. The Alberg hotel –with its elegantly rustic chalet– and the Relais& Châteaux Post hotel are our two favorites.


 


Faraya – Kfardebian, Lebanon
Located in Mount Lebanon, Kfardebian Mountains are a great destination for ski lovers. Faraya is filled with traditional Lebanese restaurants with beautiful outdoor terraces. In addition, Intercontinental Mzaar hotel offers you a luxurious stay well worth the trip.
