On October 26th, New York’s former American Stock Exchange building was shining with the presence of celebrities, who flew in to New York from everywhere for a special occasion. You guessed it! All this fuss was about Louis Vuitton unveiling its “Volez, Voguez, Voyagez” exhibition.
Curated by Olivier Saillard and designed by Robert Carsen, this stunning exhibition explores the history of the French house and takes it back to the place in which Louis Vuitton debuted in 1893 – when it showcased its trunks at the World’s Fair in Chicago.
This long history was celebrated last Thursday during a cocktail hosted by Bernard Arnault – Chairman and CEO of LVMH and Michael Burke, Chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton.
