Have you ever wondered what a rocker-chic ballerina would look like? Well wonder no more, because Jeremy Scott did exactly that for Moschino's Spring-Summer 2018 collection. Picture tulle tutus, net stockings and leather jackets. Picture leather corset-belts, studded gloves and lavish over-the-knee boots. Some of the models sported tracksuits with rainbow side stripes and - wait for it - the logo of a unicorn on the back. Elitist models such as Kaia Gerber, the Hadid sisters and Taylor Hill were transformed into punk-rock ballerinas wearing patent heels as they summoned the sweet memories of the eighties. The eveningwear section of the show was immensely groundbreaking, as Scott sent out models in gowns that doubled as flowers - yes flowers. He went as far as dressing one of his models as an alive-and-well bouquet of flowers. After all, isn't he the King of ingenuity?
