From time to time, Dior graces us with a priceless gift: the details of the beauty look of its models on the runway. And with the Couture Spring-Summer 2025 Collection recently showcased, we were pampered with an extra dose of charm from Peter Philips. The Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup styled a look “in harmony with a new Alice in Wonderland, revisited as a rebel for the collection. In contrast with this profusion of fabric and embroidery, I offered a perfectly clean, glowy, and radiant face, with a touch of pink on the cheeks, and a graphic eyebrow.”
For the complexion, he went for a dazzling, luminous effect with a radiant glow, requiring skin to be prepped using the Dior Capture Totale routine, starting with Capture Le Sérum followed by Capture Totale Hyalushot. Once the skin was smooth, he applied the Dior Forever Skin Perfect foundation to even and illuminate. Then, touch-ups were carried out with the Dior Forever Skin Correct. Lastly, he created a subtle boyfriend blush with Rouge Blush Colour & Glow in 257 Dioriviera, 287 Dioramour, 457 Diorette, or 757 Wildior, depending on skin tone, applying it to the center of the cheek and blending it downwards towards the jaw to add a subtle touch of pink to the complexion.
As for the eyes, the idea was to embody a sophisticated and rebellious punk spirit in a powerful and simple way. The eyes looked intense thanks to the graphic eyebrows alone, which he brushed upwards and together to create gaps using Diorshow On Set Brow and Diorshow Brow Styler.
And with final touches to the lips that were subtly accentuated with Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil in 000 Universal Clear while their shine was blotted, nails looking natural in Dior Vernis in 108 Muguet, and hair styled to look symmetric with a center part, all the details came together ever-so-perfectly.
