Through this creative capsule, Chaumet not only honors the historic links it maintains with nature, but also celebrates the majestic beauty of bamboo as an introduction to a new high jewelry collection that pays tribute to naturalist treasures. In the Maison’s stylistic repertoire, the majesty of this underrepresented plant is explored through the savoir-faire of its supremely skilled artisans. After making an appearance in two sketches dating from the time of Fossin, this treasure – which symbolizes integrity, determination and modesty in China and prosperity in Japan – is at the heart of a 10-piece graphic parure.

Playing with paradoxes, the exquisite marvels reflect the identity of a plant that rises majestically towards the sky and is able to bend without breaking, as engraved yellow gold creates a striking contrast with the white gold. And as the theme is explored like never before, Chaumet’s distinctive style is ever-present: from the bib necklace and its plunging “V” shape, to the masterful use of articulation and the signature tiara that crowns the parure.
