Bvlgari Celebrates the Chinese Year of the Snake

A love letter to one of Bvlgari’s most enduring emblems.

Bvlgari unveils the Serpenti Cuore 1968 bag to honor the Year of the Snake, symbolizing complexity and adaptability. This timeless icon connects cultures and represents transformation. Coinciding with 2025’s Year of the Snake in the Chinese zodiac, Bvlgari introduces this unique bag resembling a heart divided into two shapes: one as its body and the other as a snake-shaped golden handle. Inspired by Bvlgari’s archives, the handle mirrors the famed 1968 Bvlgari Serpenti Harlequin watch, known for its colorful enamel. Made from soft calf leather, the Serpenti Cuore 1968 features a cushioned curve showcasing its silhouette, and the gold-plated handle is crafted using the intricate ‘lost wax’ method, a traditional technique rooted in jewelry-making. Offering versatile styling, its detachable chain strap allows wear as a cross-body or hand-carry. Available in several colors like Feroza Turquoise and Star Rose Pink, the bag includes a handle and crystal eyes in contrasting shades.

Alongside the new Serpenti Cuore 1968, Bvlgari presents an exclusive collection of textiles dedicated to the Year of the Snake. The Capsule Collection's key motif reflects the heart shape of Cuore, where two Bvlgari Serpenti create a love heart, surrounded by fireworks and heritage jewels to celebrate rebirth and transformation under the snake sign. Each scarf showcases Bvlgari’s artisanship, featuring a double print process in two shades.
