Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their groundbreaking collaboration with the release of an expansive re-edition collection. It reimagines and updates their iconic partnership which, first launched two decades ago, features over 200 creations and highlights the enduring creative bond between the House and the Japanese artist. In fact, it’s a celebration of the combination of Murakami's vibrant artistry and Louis Vuitton's renowned craftsmanship which brings together traditional techniques and modern technology. Advances in digital printing have allowed for a more vivid expression of Murakami’s motifs, enhancing both the precision and vibrancy of the artist's signature characters, from the Monogram Multicolore to his playful floral patterns.

The Louis Vuitton × Murakami re-edition is a joyful tribute to the lasting impact of their original collaboration, which transcends trends and generations across the world. The collection spans a diverse range of products meticulously rendered across more than 170 of the House's creations, from City Bags to a made-to-order Malle Wardrobe – containing 33 Speedy bags, a specially designed skateboard, and many more. A highlight of the launch is the iconic and unprecedented reworking of the Monogram Multicolore, with its 33 vivid colors, now brought to life with cutting-edge digital techniques.

This celebratory collection will be showcased through immersive pop-up experiences, innovative in-store activations, a dedicated advertising campaign and a lot more around the world, starting 1 January 2025, with a second chapter focusing on Murakami's Cherry Blossom pattern set to be unraveled in March 2025.
