This journey is not a simple one; it’s one that invites the public to discover the spirit of innovation and creation with Le Monde d’Hermès magazine. After opening in Prague in 2021 for the very first time, Le Monde d’Hermès kiosk has been travelling the world and the region – having been in Abu Dhabi and Doha earlier this year. Today and until the 7th of December 2024, it is presented in Bahrain at the eponymous kiosk open to all on the promenade of Marassi Galleria Mall to offer the readers the chance to explore the collections and conversations that illustrate the diversity of the world of Hermès in words and pictures.
“The Spirit of the Faubourg” – the House’s annual theme for 2024 – fills the pop-up in the most creative of ways, as the visitors immerse themselves in this experiential journey starting with a greeting from a friendly Mr. Kiosk, then a welcoming by a dynamic cast of colorful characters, such as the Diver while he continues his quest for Mr. Horse and recounts along the way thrilling tales of lost treasures and sunken pearls from the ocean’s depths. Afterwards, visitors cross paths with the Explorer, a seasoned traveler and passionate collector of artifacts inspired by the legendary journeys of Emile Hermès. This lively momentum continues, as guests can interact with the artist who illustrates hand-fans with elements inspired by the magazine, as well as enjoy a selection of board games or step into the mystical realm with the Oracle, whose tarot readings and wisdom offer intriguing guidance and inspiring insight.
Palatable treats offered at Hermès’s flower cart allow the visitors to take home a treat as well as a copy of Le Monde d’Hermès magazine, which is the fruit of the creative work of an editor-in-chief and an artistic director who are invited to create two issues per year with Hermès’ teams and collaborate each season with carefully selected writers, illustrators and photographers to illustrate the world of Hermès and its captivating themes in the most delightful of ways.
