For the 9th edition of the Dior Lady Art Bag project, Dior invited 11 artists from all over the world to reinterpret the House’s iconic bag. Forever embodying Dior’s quintessential style, it transcends being a bag as it is in fact, a symbol and a legend. Nestled at the convergence of timeless elegance and perpetually renewed daring, its refined, architectural design, sublimated by the signature graphic lines of cannage, fuses the House’s eternal codes with the marvelous plurality of its savoir-faire.

The destiny of this iconic object continues to be shaped by concepts and events forever transcending the boundaries of innovation, and this year a new group of international artists was given a carte blanche from Dior to revisit this exceptional bag and transform it into a dream canvas through which they transpose their vision, their universe, their singularity. For this edition, Sara Flores, Jeffrey Gibson, Huang Yuxing, Liang Yuanwei, Danielle Mckinney, Duy Anh Nhan Duc, Hayal Pozanti, Faith Ringgold, Vaughn Spann, Anna Weyant, and Woo Kukwon took turns adding their magical touches to the Lady Dior – translating their unique perspective, extending the narrative of their works, and echoing their values.
