DIY Face Masks – Pamper Your Skin at Home

When natural beauty is the key to a healthy, radiant skin…

Have you ever believed that the secret to beauty is in your kitchen? If the answer is yes, then this article is for you. Beauty masks are a part of every woman’s skincare routine and using the right ingredients to cater to your skin’s needs is key to achieving the desired result. So, without further ado, we have decided to share with you below a few recipes that will take your beauty to a whole new level!

To exfoliate your skin, mix 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1 teaspoon of nutmeg, 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder with 2 tablespoons of honey, and gently massage your skin with the mixture for 20 seconds. Leave it on for 10 minutes then massage the mask as you rinse it off with room temperature water. Afterwards, apply your skincare routine while leaving out any exfoliating product that it may include.

If you have large pores, this one will solve your problem. Brew 1 cup of green tea and let it cool, then add 1 tablespoon of powdered kaolin clay to a small bowl and slowly mix with a spoon until it forms a thin paste consistency. Using a brush or your fingers, apply an even layer onto your skin and let it sit for five to 10 minutes or until fully dry. Gently rinse with warm water, avoiding any rubbing or tugging and follow with a moisturizer. Apply this mask once a week and let it do its magic!

Dry skin is true concern during the fall season, but the good news is that there’s a mask to provide it with the moisture it needs to stay hydrated and radiant. Combine 1 teaspoon of honey, 2 teaspoons of milk and 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder in a bowl and mix. Leave the mask on for 15 minutes then rinse thoroughly with warm water. Use this mask once a week and gradually increase to two times a week.

There’s even a DIY mask for acne-prone skin and here’s the recipe: mix UMF-rated manuka honey with one capsule of activated charcoal per 1 tablespoon of honey. Apply a thin layer over your face and neck, and leave the mask on for 15 to 20 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water. Use this mask once or twice a week.

For those looking to achieve a brighter skin, mix 4 tablespoons of pumpkin purée with 1 tablespoon of plain Greek yogurt. Apply the mixture onto your skin and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes, then rinse it off with warm water. Start by using this mask once a week and work your way up to twice a week for better results!

Now that we’ve got most of your skin concerns handled, all that’s left for you to do is to commit to this natural beauty regimen and watch the magic happen as you enjoy your fall season!
