“At the beginning of this collection, we decided we were going to make clothes not just for our clients, but for their daughters and granddaughters. Future Vintage, I’m calling it.” – Daniel Roseberry

It was a ready-to-wear collection, yet Schiaparelli retained its couture approach to design in order to invent an essential and timeless wardrobe while experimenting with this season’s inspirations. Bright and loud colors, animal prints, light fabrics, as well as simple and airy shapes were all key elements in this collection and the target was one: to dress the Schiaparelli woman for every occasion next summer.

Knitwear was the first stop in this journey, coming in a richer, original and lightweight version that is both chic and comfortable to meet the way Elsa has always dreamed it to be – “pour le sport” and “pour la ville”, day or night. Then came the trick-of-the-eye menswear archetypes all inset with invisible stretch corsets to glorify the female form.

Bags, which are now an integral part of the Maison’s identity and success, came this season in new shades while paying tribute to Schiaparelli’s timeless codes such as the Measuring Tape, the Keyhole and the newest Key charm. A new addition was the Hobo bag, a sleek round shoulder bag in all the season’s most desirable materials and colors. And last but not least, the shoes were as fun as ever – presenting an exclusive take on flats that stands as a true testament to the Maison’s signature details and audacity.
