Like in travel, the beauty of creating a collection lies in the process. When the product is reached, a new process starts just like the life cycle of an agave. With this in mind, Etro’s collection of ready-to-wear for Spring-Summer 2025 was showcased on a catwalk punctuated by enormous agave plants – reflecting the collection’s southern feel, that of the Mediterranean basin. An electric explosion of colors was witnessed, as the aesthetic and cultural boundaries of this geography remained undefined.

In Marco de Vincenzo’s creative mind was an ongoing dialogue between his perspective as a creative director and the Etro code. Layering, flowing fabrics, tailoring, transparency, patterns and jewels all defined the wardrobe of the Etro woman come next spring. A new way of working with prints was revealed, hiding them to set them free like sudden blooms, flashes and illuminations. Flares, multicolored knits and sumptuously psychedelic jacquards were also part of this detour, where chance and reason coexist to predict an ongoing journey of creativity.
