FENDI Spring-Summer 2025 Ready-to-Wear

“The foundations of how women dress today and, in many ways, how we think are in the 1920s. It’s about modernity in style and attitude…” – Kim Jones, Artistic Director of Couture and Womenswear.

As the House of FENDI gets ready to celebrate its centennial in 2025, this collection is one to link the past with the present and the future. Bringing together ready-to-wear and couture, hand and machine-made, evening and daywear, it’s a celebration of values and techniques that the Maison has cherished ever since its establishment in 1925.

The archetypal and the iconoclastic come together in pieces that reflect movement, lightness, excellence and ease – addressing the women who lead a contemporary life and do rather than just are. With the highest savoir-faire, the clothing and accessories were infused with a louche insouciance – displaying unstructured structures. Although supremely detailed and handmade, embroideries were light and placed on archetypal forms such as the tee and the simple slip in silk and organza. Robes were made of the softest suedes and shearlings, while t-shirts featured the finest suede croco and silk tea dresses were paired with boots made in conjunction with Red Wing that apply FENDI’s colour palette, supple Cuoio Romano leather and Selleria hand stitching to Red Wing’s Classic Moc boot structure.

The bags echo the collection in materials, embroideries and unstructured structure. Seemingly effortless yet achieved with the effort of supreme craftsmanship, the Mamma Baguette came taller, wider and bigger than its standard version in a tribute to Adele Fendi, founder of the house and Silvia Venturini Fendi’s grandmother. Another tribute to the founder was Delfina Delettrez Fendi’s FENDI Filo jewellery, an evolution of the Selleria that revolve around the motif most closely associated with Adele Fendi.
