Easy elegance is definitely the theme of Burberry’s Summer 2025 collection, where creativity feels inherently British. Expressive silhouettes infused with familiarity took the runway, as a sense of adventure was reflected through cropped rainwear crafted from light fabrics like silk poplin and linen.

Come next summer, the outdoorsy men and women will be donning capes and parkas coated for protection, washed and sun-bleached fabrics that add a worn feel to the pieces, as well as checkered jackets, trousers and bags in linen cotton and silk viscose. Relaxed trousers with buttons on ankles and functional cargo pants had their share of the show, as well as the full-length skirts in bright shades, shoulders lined with silk organza faux feather trims and dresses hand-stitched with metallic paillettes in gold and lilac. As for the color palette, it was certainly a cheerful one perfect for the summer season – featuring palma, green, carrot, bellflower and lilac, alongside neutral tones such as terracotta.

Continuing Burberry’s long-standing commitment to supporting art, the collection was not only presented at the National Theater, but also amidst a setting created by Gary Hume, as brutalist architecture complemented the British artist’s modernist works, contrasting with the lightness of the creations.
