Unbridled creativity continues to reign supreme in Hublot’s universe, as the House presents new timepieces that introduce new colors and innovative materials to the watchmaking landscape.
After being introduced in vivid red, blue and yellow, Big Bang Unico Ceramic is now launched in a vivid orange hue. This color is in fact introduced in ceramic for the very first time in the Manufacture’s history. Far from being as simple to achieve as it is to say, developing an original ceramic color requires in-depth research and development in terms of additives, proportions, type of firing, temperature and resistance to impacts and scratches. Following in the footsteps of its predecessors, the new Big Bang Unico Orange Ceramic limited to 250 pieces offers a unique, perfectly uniform color and is finished to a very high watchmaking standard, with a perfect mirror polish all over.
SAXEM is a revolutionary material that Hublot takes pride in manufacturing, and creating a new shade of it is an extremely challenging process. While this material has a clear connection to sapphire in terms of resistance, it has a different, brighter shine and is more uniform and seamless. The new Big Bang Unico Green SAXEM limited to 100 pieces highlights a number of the innovations that Hublot has achieved – whether through the solid and robust case that does not receive light but creates the illusion of emitting it, the One Click system patented by Hublot for its interchangeable straps, or the new-generation UNICO 2 caliber with a flyback chronograph.
Revolving around fusion without compromise on any other technicality, a new collaboration brings Hublot once again with artist Richard Orlinski – resulting in the launch of the Classic Fusion Tourbillon Orlinski in vibrant yellow or sky blue. One is radiantly sunny with its case, strap, bezel, hands and index all dressed in yellow and an HUB6021 movement beating at its heart. Bright yellow has given way to sky blue, in which the bridges are covered in silver rhodium plating, revealing the polished, satin-brushed and embossed finishes of each component. Celestial or solar, only 30 pieces of each model will be produced.
