Miu Miu presented its fifth Miu Miu Upcycled collection, centered once again on denim, which is renowned for its durability and revered for its distinctive patina. Thus, denim, both symbolically and physically, is narrating its own tale. Launched in 2020, the Miu Miu Upcycled initiative honors the significance of vintage fashion, advocating for circular design principles. The legacy of timeless elegance is transmitted to enrich both the present and future.

For this collection, original garments were meticulously sourced from global experts, and then, dissembled to create new marvels. Jeans were reimagined as loose-fitting, worn low on the hips, while scarf tops and micro-shorts were abbreviated to echo the iconic Miu Miu ready-to-wear silhouette. As for snappers, delicately removed and reinstated, they came holding Miu Miu’s signature. In turn, blouson jackets underwent modifications, shortened and upgraded with suede borders and front zippers replacing central buttons.

With a series of discreetly cut-out and collaged portraits, the campaign imagery echoes the Upcycled by Miu Miu design process, allowing the product and the characters wearing it to shine.
