Mentoring teenage girls and teaching them to “Dream Big” are two things Coach and Selena Gomez should vastly take pride in. Indeed, supporting Coach Foundation partner Step Up, the endeavor is pegged as a mission to empower young women. The journey started with visits to two Los Angeles high schools- Alliance Margaret M. Bloomfield High School and Alliance Leichtman-Levine Environmental Science High School- with a surprise appearance from the new face of the brand Gomez and Coach’s CEO Victor Luis.

"I am truly thrilled to be involved with Coach and their support of Step Up. Step Up’s mission to empower young women is personally important to me and something even more crucial in under-served communities.  Working with the young women I met today was an inspirational experience I will never forget,” said Selena Gomez.

“We are honored to be here today with Selena Gomez to work with Step Up in its mission to promote confidence amongst teen girls. Step Up’s goal of empowering young women for a brighter future aligns perfectly with Coach’s purpose and values,” commentedVictor Luis, Chief Executive Officer of Coach, Inc.

Gomez partnered with Step Up CEO Jenni Luke to present a curriculum lesson, leading young women to assert their confidence, hence celebrating the global girl community.
