Showcasing its expertise in the equestrian world since 1837, Hermès will be staging an evening event for the very first time on the 18th of March 2017, as part of the 8th Saut Hermès at the Grand Palais three-day event happening on the 17th, 18th and 19th of March. Starting 7pm, the audience will enjoy watching the new show jumping event and an all-new equestrian show under the glass roof of the Grand Palais. The new CSI 5* class, also known as Prix du 24 Faubourg, will be a timed course with no jump-off and only one pass permitted! During the evening, Hermès will also be presenting a poetic show originally created by equestrian artist Mario Luraschi and dramatist Florient Azoulay, entitled “Le songe de Don Quichotte” (“Don Quixote’s Dream”).

As such, the world’s fifty best riders will be competing in the ten classes of the 5-star international show with twenty rising stars under the age of 25 mentored by the riders of the CSI 5* circuit. The event itself reveals a partnership between the House and GL events, where French rider sporting advisor for the Saut Hermès at the Grand Palais Michel Robert along with German course designer Frank Rothenberger will be contributing to the technical development of this year’s classes. Brace yourselves, as the tickets are officially on sale now on www.sauthermes.com and from the usual sales outlets, with limited places available.

The best part of it? Hermès also offers members of the French Federation for Equestrian Sports (FFE) the opportunity to attend the event free of charge on Friday 17th March 2017.
