Polar Bear Mothers & New-born Cubs

Stay at Wat’chee Lodge, a remote lodge located in close proximity to one of the largest denning sites in Arctic Canada. Your best chance of seeing new-born cubs and Polar bears as they emerge from their den in are in April and you could also have the chance to see the Northern Lights.

Swim with the Blue Whales of Sri Lanka

Head to the Weligama Bay on the southern coast of Sri Lanka, for these deep coastal waters of the Indian Ocean are probably where you’ll get to see the blue whales up-close. What is fascinating about this safari is that it involves underwater adventure and an opportunity to swim with the blue giants, sea turtles, white risso dolphins, spinner dolphins and pilot whales.

Track Gorillas Uganda

Children must be at least 15-years-old to go on the Gorilla Habituation Safari, which offers a rare opportunity to spend an entire day with conservationists and researchers. They track and habituate gorilla families and very much familiar with the terrain. Do note, the gorilla habituation experience in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is available for a limited duration of only two to three years. Also, if possible, travel during spring, as it is one of the best times to indulge in your passion for photography.

India Family Safari

Back in India, March and April are the best months to track tigers in the forests. With rising temperatures, the grass too dries up and so do the watering holes. Tigers are on the move for water or in search of prey and can be easily tracked during these months.
