DID YOU KNOW… Which Supermodel Daughters Are Following in their Mothers' Fashion Footsteps?

by Leonore Dicker

They say beauty is hereditary and they might actually be right. A lot of the stunning models we see walking down the runway actually got their looks from their gorgeous mothers.

Are you a fan of Cara Delevingne’s BFF Georgia May Jagger? The British beauty –who is currently the face of Mulberry– is actually the daughter of Mick Jagger and eighties supermodel Jerry Hall. To celebrate their shared profession, the mother and daughter have done some joint photo-shoots, including for ELLE’s front cover and H&M’s 2011 ad campaign.

Another huge eighties supermodel you probably all know is Cindy Crawford.

Her own daughter, Kaia Gerber, is only 13 and has already made her modeling debut. She was featured on Young Versace’s campaign at the early age of 10. Seeing as she’s the spitting image of her gorgeous mother, we can only imagine that her modeling career will boom as she reaches adulthood.

Lucie De La Falaise –niece of the great jewelry designer Loulou De La Falaise– was chosen by Yves Saint Laurent to be the closing bride at one of his couture shows and was frequently featured in Vogue. Her daughter, Ella Richards, is the granddaughter of The Rolling Stones member Keith Richards and has decided to follow in her mother’s catwalk footsteps. She’s walked numerous shows, including Paul & Joe’s F/W 15. Her fashion career shows no signs of abating.

Another daughter-model to keep an eye on is Amber Le Bon. Her mother –Yasmin Le Bon– has modeled for every brand imaginable and was featured in countless magazines, including Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue. Amber has modeled for Moschino and has been the face of shampoo brand Pantene. She also happens to be close to Cara Delevingne, Georgia May Jagger and Suki Waterhouse – as they’ve all known each other since childhood.
