It was during the joyous month of December, back in 2010, that a luxurious lobby filled with the joys of the Holiday spirit presented to the world a true festive miracle. Sitting ever-so majestically between the riot of clients, an eloquent evergreen tree was said to be decorated with gold leafs and a total of 181 precious gems, as passersby gazed wondrously at the beautiful creation.  Have you guessed which tree we’re talking about?

Yes, it’s the magnificent wonder that rested atop of Abu Dhabi’s famed Emirates Palace Hotel, also known as the world’s priciest festive tree ever. With a price tag of more than $11 million, the tree was luxuriously frosted with watches, earrings and necklaces from Khalifa Khouri’s Style Gallery, unveiling a whirlpool of diamonds, emeralds, pearls and sapphires- amongst others. Need we say more?

And as precious stones filled the tree’s branches with nothing but sheer exquisiteness, lights and baubles lit up the spacious room, bringing forth the feel of a very lavish holiday! Not only was it exquisite and magnificent, it was also an official record-breaking wonder as The Guinness World of Records included the notorious tree in its list of the world’s most valuable trees.

Boy, the jewelry-draped branches seemed to have made quite the impression! #Impressed
