In a quest to highlight its love for Rome, Maison Valentino has once again succeeded with flying colors by lighting up its Christmas Tree in Piazza Mignanelli. Indeed, the lighting ceremony is pegged as a gift for the city, from its children to its citizens, all of whom celebrated the festive season in the presence of Pierpaolo Piccioli and of course, dreamy carol performers!

Standing forever tall and magnificent, the 15-meter Christmas tree lit over the city of Rome ever-so magically amidst a fury of watchers, as the latter enjoyed a live performance by Tia Architto. But this is just the tip of the festive iceberg, as the Maison will also be donating the entire proceeds of the sale of the Rouge Absolute Cire Trudon for Valentino candle to the Croce Rossa Italiana, as a way to help the victims of the devastating earthquake that hit Italy not so long ago. Said candles are available at the Valentino boutiques in Rome, Milan and Florence. Concerts of the Bresstheme band will also be taking over the festive season at the heart of Piazza Mignanelli, under the striking lights of the Christmas Tree on the 9th, 15th, 22nd and 29th of December at 5:30 pm.

Is it just us, or is this the international sign for us to put our festive hat on and celebrate the season, the Valentino way? Oh, and you’re all invited to share your moments during this magical season by using the hashtag #ValentinoPerRoma.

Grazie Valentino!
