The Grand Opening of Palazzo Versace in Dubai

In celebration of the opening of its newest Palazzo Versace Hotel & Resort in Dubai, Versace held a grand event hosted by Donatella Versace and the brand’s CEO Jonathan Akeroyd. A-listers and influencers from the GCC countries joined international supermodels Alessandra Ambrosio, Helena Christensen and Natasha Poly to party the night away.

Located at the heart of Dubai Cultural Village, the new Palazzo Versace has an architecture that is reminiscent of a 16th century Italian palace with traces of Arabian influence. Featuring furniture and interiors designed exclusively by Donatella Versace for each of the 215 rooms, a world-class spa, an array of fine dining options, magnificent suites, spectacular pools and a children’s club, this place gives any of its visitors the opportunity to experience the ultimate Italian luxurious lifestyle.

On this occasion, Versace’s couture collection flew to Dubai for the first time ever and Versace will be scheduling private appointments throughout the week, giving the Emirates’ clientele the chance to meet with the Versace Atelier team in person and review the collection. To make this event more special, Versace will donate a portion of every couture order submitted this week to Dubai Cares, a philanthropic organization created by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum that works to improve access to quality primary education for children in developing countries.

“I am so excited to host the Grand Opening of Palazzo Versace Dubai. I visited the hotel prior to the opening, and was amazed by its beauty. This truly is a luxury destination second to none in the world. I’ve also been excited to bring our couture collection to Dubai. We’re so happy to be able to bring the Versace experience to the Middle East,” said Donatella Versace.
