On November 2nd, Tiffany & Co. brought New York to Dubai in an event entitled “Two Cities, One Night: New York in Dubai”. Held at the Pavilion Armani Hotel by Burj Khalifa, the event was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum – Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The famed jewelry brand has found its inspiration to organize this special night in a tweet posted by His Highness, featuring a picture taken of him with his late father Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum in the 1960s during a visit to the Empire State building in New York. Standing at the top of the world’s tallest building then, his dream in leading Dubai to become the house of the world’s tallest building saw the light and came true when Burj Khalifa was inaugurated in 2010.

While Tiffany is known for celebrating memorable moments in its own way, it paid tribute to this achievement by celebrating New York’s legacy in Dubai. Burj Khalifa was lit in Tiffany Blue to announce the start of this memorable night. To make these moments even more special, the New York City skyline was recreated in Dubai and an immersive installation at Burj Khalifa took the guests on a journey to the iconic monuments of New York City, from the Empire State Building to the Brooklyn Bridge and the avant-gardist triangular Flatiron Building. Broadway show performances entertained the guests, who also didn’t miss the chance to stop by the Tiffany & Co. flagship boutique that housed more than 60 high jewelry creations brought to Dubai exclusively for this special event, as well as two new designs – the Pavé Tiffany Setting and the Tiffany T Square Diamond.

As Dubai was lit in blue to mark a special evening, we were treated to a fabulous journey not only to the glamorous city of New York, but also to the world of Tiffany.
