Your closet, like any fashionable well for your stylish looks, is undergoing a makeover this season. Since the attires we’re going to wear this fall are thicker than the summer apparels, they will definitely take up more space and that’s going to lead to a cluttered nightmare.

In order to help you avoid that, here are some brilliant ideas to organize your style space!

1 – Use proper hangers and keep in mind that the ones with satin padding are for delicate items and the wood hangers are for tailored jackets.

2 – Mount a pegboard inside the closet door to hang your bags and accessories or store the latter in clear plastic drawers used also to organize your neatly rolled scarves, underwear and belts.

3 – You must be wondering about the bags now. To keep them well in shape, avoid putting them on a shelf and hang them on durable hooks instead.

4 – Stock out-of-season pieces in large canvas boxes as you will not be wearing them now and benefit from the space to organize your fall clothes.

5 – If your closet is small, use slim hangers and stackable bins with drawers to gain extra space.

6 – Create divided shelves to organize your shoes. This way, everything will be in its right place and in front of your eyes.

7 – Label your clothes to make everything clear.

8 – Group your clothing by category – dress pants, jeans, casual shirts, work tops, dresses, skirts and all- and you will notice how much easier putting an outfit together gets.

9 – Arrange your clothes by colors, from light to dark.

10 – If you still don’t have enough space for your treasures, your room’s walls will save you, as many up-the-ceiling cabinets can fit on them. Provide your room with a practical ladder to have easy access to everything stored up there and you’re set!
