Creating an ideal floral table centerpiece is easier than you think. We know that everything can be brought home ready these days, but sometimes it’s nice to create something we will love and once it’s done we will reward ourselves by enjoying its view. With that said, we will help you make the perfect table centerpiece, and it will be one you can totally brag about to your friends and family!

The first thing you should do is mix tall and short centerpieces to fill the place with a vibrant feel, all the while making sure to never block the line of sight for guests. Consider the shape of your table. If it is round, it just needs a single centerpiece that can be tall as it makes it easier for the guests to look around. A square table calls for a richer centerpiece due to the large space in the center, which you don’t want looking empty. And if you have a rectangular table, multiple centerpieces are required as one will look poor.

Using seasonal flowers allows you to take advantage of the freshest blooms. Since the fall season is upon us, our choices include asters, chrysanthemums, mums, sunflowers, dahlias, marigolds and zinnias. You also have the opportunity to include seasonal décor elements such as pumpkins, pinecones, and even acorns – just make sure to set your creativity free!

If you don’t want to use seasonal offerings, your choice can fall on some widely available flowers such as carnations, baby’s breath, orchids or lilies. Choose your favorite vase, whether it’s made of glass, ceramic, pottery, mosaic, metal, wood or stone and give your table a unique feel!
