Motivate Yourself to Work out this Fall

The fall season is known to be an embracing atmosphere for laziness. And let’s face it; nobody wants to exercise during the “confused season”, when it’s neither hot, nor cold. In fact, there is something in this time of the year that makes us just want to stay home and chill.

We’ve done a great job preserving our nice bodies during the summer and we don’t want to waste all this effort, right? With this in mind, here are some great ways to motivate yourself this fall. Always remember to keep your favorite super-skinny jeans as a target!

1 – Signing a commitment contract in front of your friends makes you keep your promise to exercise regularly. In fact, we all make promises to ourselves all day long and we certainly don’t keep them. However, you don’t want to get embarrassed when your friends know that you didn’t live up to your word.

2 – If you are a positive thinker, you will definitely get yourself moving. Use the “I am a positive person and I will embrace life” philosophy to motivate yourself to get out of bed and go for a run. Your beliefs will make you imagine the sun’s warmth on your face and the result of this effort when you get the perfect body.

3 – One more thought, how about giving yourself a reward? Let’s be honest, better health and weight control are not always reasons that encourage us to work out. Treat yourself to a smoothie or to watch an episode or two of your favorite series. These more tangible rewards will definitely be your motivation!

4 – If you’re too far from your goal, there’s a fact not to be missed. Just by walking a little more every day, you can shrink your waist in 12 weeks. With this in mind, I bet each and every one of us is willing to exercise more!
