Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Resorts Celebrate Pink October

While we are all preparing ourselves to celebrate October in pink, Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Resorts announce their exciting way to raise breast cancer awareness. On October 21st and 22nd, the resorts will participate in Pink October by donating AED 25 from each island activity to charity.

As part of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month – commonly known now as Pink October and aiming at raising funds for research into this disease and supporting anybody affected by breast cancer – Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Resorts are decorating their archery targets and activity cars in pinks, while guests have the opportunity to pamper themselves with “pink” spa treatments. In addition to the donation of raised funds to local breast cancer support group, they can also show their support for the campaign by purchasing pink crystal-embellished pins.

This supportive action takes part in a series of initiatives on Sir Bani Yas Island, along with nature conservation that plays a quintessential role in their everyday life and the high-priority animal preservation. Giving back to the local community is equally important, as more social events support other causes – such as “Run for a smile” supporting an international children’s medical charity in June 2016 and the upcoming “Movemeber”, which will take place during Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.

Now, it’s your time to support this journey against breast cancer and participate in Pink October by doing something that you love and enjoying a stay filled with excitement at Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Resorts. From exploring the Arabian Wildlife Park to perfecting archery skills, the activities are definitely worth a try.
