Lo and behold Gucci’s new 35,000 square meter Milan “Hub” located in the legendary Caproni aeronautical factory built in 1915. The three-year project gathers in one home the house’s Milan offices, worldwide showrooms, a fashion show venue, graphic and photo studios, were more than 250 employees will get to blossom.

‘Our Milan location, which we have named the Gucci Hub - as it will be where we welcome buyers and press from around the world each season - now joins our two other centers of excellence in Italy. Our Florence headquarters with over 1,300 employees, remains the heart of our historic brand and is the center of excellence for Gucci's renowned craftsmanship and manufacturing, while our Rome-based design office represents the center of excellence for the company's groundbreaking creativity," commented Marco Bizzarri, Gucci's President and CEO .

He then continued: "The concept and design of our new Milan location symbolize every aspect of the new chapter that Gucci opened at the start of last year. This highly contemporary space, rendered from within an historic building, will foster and nurture an open working environment that is at the core of a true learning organization. It will also become a place of cultural exchange, when we present the collections each season."

And as the interior design echoes Alessandro Michele’s unique vision, the whole space has been refurbished in such a way that the creative director’s aesthetic emanates from every single detail, from the exposed brick facades to the six story glass-front office tower to the massive car park. The furnishings are pegged to be unique, as they’re not subject to replication or purchase in anyway whatsoever. The space is chockfull of theater seating, and old bar, vintage screens, armchairs and side tables. Truly a goosebumps-worthy space!

In a word, you’ll definitely be entering a ground-breaking work environment and an exceptional Gucci bubble!
