The beating heart of Elisabetta Franchi was throbbing ever-so loudly amidst a storm of sensual fringes, high-slit gowns, cut-out dresses and shimmering jumpsuits. The Franchi woman has always been pegged for her deep-routed sensuality, dressing the likes of the Kardashian clan. The army of flirtatious models were outfitted teasing dresses, worthy of a true 80s diva, giving away – of course, in a sophisticated demure- hints of flesh, elegantly drawing to their raw magnetism. Animalistic prints took center stage as well, bursting unto jumpsuits and sultry dresses. There were also bustier-meets-chiffon dresses, leading up to a grungy-chic attitude, while metallic glitters scattered all around the flowy gowns. One look in particular was that of a city-chic fashion maven, where a bright red leather jacket melted perfectly in a sea of black glitter. But what struck us most was undoubtedly the vibe that was relentlessly invading the runway, true to a retro lady: models were sporting a wavy hairdo and a vibrant red shade of lipstick. So if there’s an example we might follow from Franchi next season, is to focus our on our inner-diva!
