Marco De Vincenzo’s collections always go beyond the norm. Some might even describe them as extravagantly brilliant and today, he followed suit in a colorful line of dresses, flared pants and boots. His love for  “unusual” materials came alive in colorful fringes hanging loosely from dresses, jackets and skirts. A distinct version of a flapper dress was revisited through the use of ruffles and was elegantly dipped in a mustardy yellow color palette. The notion of asymmetry was present on almost every silhouette, and skirts had a “ruffled” high-slit adding to their sensuality. It was truly an explosion of patterns and colors in the most eccentric kind of ways (think stripes and shimmery fabrics in one outfit). One thing in particular caught our attention, as a slew of models appeared in what seemed to be vibrant boots tightly sealed with a block-colored ribbon. We can’t say we’re surprised though; the Sicilian designer has never failed to deliver his true ingenuity and this show was the perfect testament!
