Hello Skinny Jeans, My Flat Belly Is So Ready for You!

We all day-dream about that flat, non-bloated belly but we know that shrinking ours takes a lot of effort and sacrifice. And since we know than when there is a will, there is a way, we can’t give up on our dream easily.

From food tips, easy tricks and simple exercises, you can make your belly flat and perfectly fit in that gorgeous pair of pants that you gifted yourself a few days ago!  

1 – The magic hour to eat a snack is between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. so don’t miss it and go for a protein bar, a piece of low-fat cheese or some almonds with an apple. This snack will actually boost your metabolism and balance blood sugar as the lower it is kept, the lower your insulin will be, in order to avoid fat around your middle.

2 – Do the ball exchange 3 times a week. Lay flat on your back with your arms above your head and your legs straight out. Put a stability ball in your hands above your head and bring it up above your chest as your bring your legs up to meet it and place it between your ankles. Bring the ball back down to the floor with your legs and straighten your arms back over your head. Repeat 10 to 12 times.

3 – Eat as close to zero grams of sugar as possible in order to keep the insulin levels low, as now we know what will this do to our beautiful-to-be belly!

4 – To avoid bloating, chew food until it becomes like applesauce in your mouth, where the digestion begins. 

5 – Use natural sea salt or kosher salt instead of table salts and stay away from soy sauce, even the low-sodium one is still high in sodium and will cause instant bloating.

6 – It is so important to include boxing in your cardio routine, as when you throw punches with weights or at a fast pace, your core works in a way that helps flatten your mid-section.

7 – Guess what! Laughing is the best exercise for your abs as it strengthens them.

Until you reach perfection, here’s a trick: let your outfit draw the attention from your belly and highlight a different part of your body. Wear a skirt or slim pants to draw the attention to your legs or opt for a boat neck top to highlight your shoulders.
