Take Your Workout to the Beach this Summer

When summer comes, we start searching for ways to benefit from the golden sun as much as possible. In addition to parties, we spend most of our days at the beach to get our skin sun-kissed and glowingly bronzed.

And since we, ladies, can’t stop exercising to stay fit and preserve that perfect beach body, why don’t we take our workout from the gym to the beach? First, we can benefit from the sun and tan while exercising – which allows us to save time. Second, exercising on the sand is more challenging as it adds more resistance to your workout and third, exercising at the beach gives you a feeling of freedom like no other.

Here are some ways to make a beach day energetic without giving up on our tanning time!

1 – Beach volleyball is the most familiar way to burn calories on the beach while enjoying the warmth of the sun. Hats on, gather your friends or family and get ready to play!

2 – Swimming is the most obvious way to exercise when at the beach. As soon as you arrive and before you start having fun with your friends, head to the pool and swim. If you are alone and planning to exercise as much as you can, swim in between your sets of other exercises to refresh.

3 – Surfing is a great workout if you can do it at the beach where you chose to spend the day. It’s both fun and beneficial. Are you ready to surf?

4 – Besides volleyball, Frisbee and paddleball are also great ways to exercise and spend a good time. Have your pick and let the fun begin!

5 – Do you love seashells and would like to exercise? Have a walk along the beach, bend regularly and pick up seashells. Believe us, you can get a decent workout out of it!

6 - Finally, running on the sand or doing yoga is also an amazing way to exercise. In addition to the resistance you feel while deploying more efforts to move on the sand, these exercises are a great way to get a foot massage.

So head to the beach this summer to catch those beautiful rays as you work on those perfect abs!
