Prix Émile Hermès International Design Award 2016

Since 2007, the Prix Émile Hermès has been honoring innovation and supporting the talents of young designers who take us to the future through their creations. Play was this year’s theme and for the fourth edition, the Fondation d’entreprise Hermès has called for projects in September 2015 and the jury selected a shortlist of 12 participants, from whom 4 talents were announced winners of 3 prizes.

The first prize went to French Jean-Simon Roch for “Vibrato” and the second prize went to French Victoria Gravelier for her artwork “Talu”, while the third was divided between Swiss Mathieu Lang who presented “Luc” and Swiss duo Léa Pereyre and Claire Pondard for their “Demi-Jour” art piece.
