Rich with history, visuals and beautiful art, the book “Missoni, Art, Colour " was recently introduced at the "Missoni, Art, Colour" exhibition.

The catalogue dives into the history and inspiration behind one of the most emblematic fashion houses of all time.

Celebrating Missoni’s distinguished style that combines art and fashion in a balanced way through colors and patterns, this book also explores the works of artists who have influenced the designers Rosita and Ottavio Missoni during their creative journey.

Missoni Art Colour is divided into four sections that depict the creative process of the Missoni house from the sources of inspiration to the material transformation. It starts with the section entitled “Roots”, which presents the historical avant-gardism in Europe, followed by “Color, Material, and Shape” that focuses on Missoni fashion and design. Missoni’s creativity in relation to Italian visual culture from the 1950s to the 1980s is explored in “Conversations”, while Ottavio Missoni’s most significant works of art made of knitted patchwork are revealed in the 4th section titled, “Tapestries”.

This book is definitely the perfect way to discover Missoni!
