Global leader in cut crystal and fashion jewelry Swarovski launches “Ingredient Branding” program and presents Dubai-based Iranian artist Salmeh Moravvej, Co-Owner of MSS Art and her one-of-a-kind artworks.
After moving to Dubai, sisters and photographers Salmeh and Sarah Moravvej founded MSS Art in 1999. To highlight their talent in capturing beauty, as well as their passion, energy and professional graphic design expertise, they create 3D artworks and paintings adorned with Swarovski and pearls.
“It takes 2 to 3 weeks to research the right kind of image that would be the subject of the painting. Copyrights and formalities of any found and existing images are then legally obtained, which is followed by and another 2 weeks of research and perspective exploration, with a lot of time and patience going into the process of crystal application which is the final ingredient to bring the work to life,” explains Salmeh Moravvej.
After a successful debut exhibition that took place in Dubai in October 2015 and the participation to the Make a Wish Foundation and Formula 1 in Abu Dhabi, the twins take their talent to another level in their latest exhibit that opened on April 26th at Pacha Dubai in collaboration with Yas Beauty. Never-seen-before images will be on display to amaze the visitors and prove, once again, the Middle Eastern knack for art.
