This year, color trend forecaster Pantone Color Institute came up with two color palettes for 2016 – Rose Quartz and Serenity. The gentle tone of Rose Quartz is perfect for jewelry that you might choose for your spring/summer season wardrobe.

Meandering ever so slightly between a blush pink and a soft pastel peach, the Rose Quartz color can be teamed up with pale blush, bluish lilac and muted tones of peach that appeared on the SS16 catwalk shows of designers such as Stella McCartney, Hervé Léger, Emporio Armani, Lela Rose, Tadashi Shoji, Mara Hoffman and Trussardi.

Here are some of our jewelry picks that mirror the lovely Rose Quartz color. A must-have is Boucheron’s Hopi hummingbird ring set with Morganite, pavé diamonds and sapphires. We love the inspiration behind the Hopi series. According to the myth of Hopi Indians of Arizona, the hummingbird is considered a “hero, who saves humanity from starvation” and spreads love and joy. Spread some love with spring with the Hopi ring.

Next up on our list is a pair of earrings from Chaumet’s Hortensia (high jewelry) collection featuring asymmetrical floral clusters adorned with pink tourmalines, cabochon opals, sapphire and diamonds. Conch pearl drop earrings by Boghossian, earrings by Brumani and Nikos Koulis, pearl drop earrings by Autore and Mikimoto, statement danglers from Sutra and Pasquale Bruni’s Ghirlanda Afrodite ring fit well into the color palette. Other pretty rings are from the Water Lily collection by Theo Fennel set with pink tourmaline and diamonds and the Garden collection by Christina Debs adorned with conch shell and a pink gold, teeny-weeny ladybird.
