Huawei P9’s London Debut

In a blend of innovation and exceptional design, Huawei P9 and P9 Plus have seen their debut today in an exclusive event held at London’s Battersea Evolution. In collaboration with Leica, the dual-lens P9 was created to reach new levels in smartphone photography.

Allowing the user to capture vivid colors and black and white images, this smartphone was to the first one co-engineered with the global iconic brand Leica Camera AG. The event featured a first look at an exclusive trailer of the new Huawei P9 TV commercial starring Henry Cavill and Scarlett Johansson, who also are the Ambassadors of the Huawei P9 series.

The connection between the two global stars in Shanghai and Hollywood symbolizes the partnership between Huawei and Leica, as well as the intersection of color and black and white that sets these smartphones apart.

Based on the vision of reinventing smartphone photography, the P9 brings together top-notch hardware and software, from optical lenses to sensors and image processing algorithms. It also allows the user to choose between three film modes – Standard, Vivid Colors or Smooth Colors – in order to improve this one-of-a-kind experience, and captures images with superior speed, accuracy and stability.
