It’s called “L.P.C: Love, Power, Copper”.

But what does Lebanese designer Vick Vanlian mean by that? According to the famed interior designer: “Copper is considered matter that conducts energy (mostly love and power which are used during the production of all our products) and elevates mental agility and consciousness to new heights. In legend copper is said to be the metal of the god Hermes who facilitates the mental agility and quick wit.”

After announcing his participation in Design Days 2016, Vanlian indulged us in a sneak peak of his exciting exhibition simply by revealing two collaboration pieces- amongst many of his own- with Bokja Design and two other pieces designed by Rayxander for the Vick Vanlian brand. One of the main attractions of this limited exhibition is “The Man Leg Console” which is, quoting the designer, “Inspired by the classic Greek man, showing power, strength and movement, this console reminds us to keep moving forward and chasing our dreams, knowing that we create our own destiny.

Searching for something to ignite your imagination? “Light My Pipe Floor Light” is said to reveal a whole lot more than meets the eye. Vanlian confirms “We choose to make our life more beautiful by creating a positive mindset”.

Design Days 2016 is harboring the most exquisite of chef d’oeuvres for you, especially those of Vick Vanlian, who commonly enjoys the use of geometry, boldness and a daring approach in his designs. Using nothing but pure innovative methods, the latter harnesses the notion of five senses in almost all of his designs, capturing forevermore a hurricane of emotions. You could say his pop cultural designs are vintage, futuristic and innovative, all at the same time and they scream “Be bold! Design without Fear”.

Let’s just say “Design Days 2016” is going to be one quirky visual experience!
