Coming from an age-old expertise, Valérie Messika is a jewelry designer known for her innovative spirit in jewelry-design. Daughter of renowned diamond dealer André Messika, the designer has successfully paved her way to the world of fine jewelry and gained recognition for her edgy and youthful pieces infused by tribal, punk and ethnic influences.
This season, jewelry historian Vivienne Becker – who is also an award-winning journalist and author of several books on the history of jewelry design – dives into the world of Messika in an ode to the brand’s 10th anniversary. Published in collaboration with Assouline, the book entitled “Messika Memoire” speaks a new language for diamond jewelry and takes us on a journey to the designer’s exceptional world.
