Cartier Celebrates 10 Years of Support for Women Entrepreneurs

Cartier, the internationally renowned jewelry and watchmaking house, has been announced as a leading partner of Global Women’s Forum Dubai. Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al-Maktoum and co-organized by Dubai Women Establishment and the Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society, the forum is set to take place on February 23rd and 24th at Dubai’s Madinat Jumeirah.

Launched 10 years ago, the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards is an annual business plan competition honoring six women entrepreneurs from around the world. It aims at supporting and recognizing creative women who are contributing to find solutions for future generations, as well as encouraging more women to explore their full creative potential.

Cartier will be hosting two sessions at the event. Previous finalists and laureates will be discussing cross-cultural management, and how they balance between their life, work and family, while the award show will highlight the awards’ achievements and will witness a gala dinner hosted by the house in the presence of Cartier International President and CEO Cyrille Vigneron.

“Entrepreneurial spirit is a precious asset to be cultivated, particularly during challenging times. Cartier remains deeply committed to supporting entrepreneurial initiatives from around the world through the annual Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards. Global Women’s Forum Dubai will certainly contribute to women’s empowerment efforts worldwide and thus mirrors Cartier's ideals and values: initiative, audacity and willpower to make the world we live in a better place,” said Vigneron.
