The Piazza Mignanelli in Rome was lighting up like a beacon in the dark on Friday, December 11th. With the festive season right around the corner, the Maison Valentino welcomed the joyful spirit with a lighting ceremony of the Christmas tree; a ceremony devoted to the Eternal city of Rome.
An enticing atmosphere was filling up the air, as citizens, friends and children were gathered to relish all together in the wonders of the holiday treats and carols. Creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli and CEO Stefano Sassi were also part of the merriment, as they conducted the orchestra of the historic home of the Maison, Palazzo Mignanelli, which was ornated with a 15 meter lightened Christmas tree.
“ We would like to send greetings of peace and harmony through a special decoration at Piazza Mignanelli: a Christmas tree full of sparkling lights to celebrate Christmas with the city of Rome ” said Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli who are strongly affiliated to the iconic Eternal City that is Rome.
Amid the lovely tribute to Rome,the celebration also included the inauguration of the latest volume , Valentino Mirabilia Romae, published by Assouline, in the Maison’s flagship boutique in Piazza di Spagna.
