Prada Group Adopts Corporate Social Responsibility

A new steppingstone for Prada Group sees the light as the brand exposes at Fondazione Prada in Milan, a new company initiative on csr.pradagroup.com.

Depicted as an indisputably successful fashion house for over thirty years now, Prada group has decided to broaden its horizon by giving in to a curiosity combined with a thirst for expansion, on a moral and practical level. After building momentum for its industry, the brand is now harnessing a CSR site to disclose a new side. A side of passion, creativity, respect and commitment for its land. A side of effective interchange between communities and finally, a side of cultural and artistic enrichment.

Carlo Mazzi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Prada Spa stated “Beauty, creativity and superior quality have always been the Prada Group’s guiding principles. Nature and humanity are the cornerstones of those principles. Respect for the environment and for individuals underpins our behaviour at all times, both within our company and in the relationship with our partners, suppliers, clients and institution. This is the way we set about our work – and it is only made possible through the unique contributions of all those who collaborate with us day in and day out”.

Corporate social responsibility rhymes with a more open-minded view of the world, all the while managing a proper business to produce an inclusive positive impact on society. The central aim remains the expansion of one’s competences and personal expertise, along with the salvation of unique artisanal skills, in a heartening working environment.

As such, Prada Group strongly believes that this website-based project mirrors a united front of practices, values and the pursuit of common goals, to enhance the brands’ value chain. But it doesn’t overlook the hard work and efforts of worldwide artisans, which have proven to be a well of excellence and success.
