Azyaamode gets up-close and personal with Versace to celebrate the launch of the house’s new limited-edition fine jewelry collection. Inspired by early creations of Versace jewelry, Donatella Versace takes us through this iconic collection on a cultural journey to the past, where reside the origins and legendary heritage of this celebrated house.
An eternal symbol of power and Versace’s iconic motif, the Medusa finds its place at the heart of this collection. The precious pieces also highlight the presence of the legendary Greek Key, which is the graphic base of mythology and classicism.
Each jewelry-set includes a necklace, a bracelet and a ring and is numbered to a limited 100 pieces. Power is embodied in the Medusa yellow-gold set, which chain necklaces and bracelets are engraved with Versace’s diamond-set Greek Key, while the Greca set combines the Medusa and the Greek Key, which are both set with diamonds.
Virya pieces are distinguished by a strong yet refined aesthetic. Inspired by the past grandeur of the Greek empire, the Virya tip is of god Eros’ arrow. Its interpretation is a delicate balance between the hard stone, the softness of its size and its sculpted frame. Symbolizing domination in mythology, this motif represents energy, creative power and the strength of love.
The Vedana collection redefines Versace’s jewelry codes and represents the house’s long-lasting quest for innovation and sensuality. Nine different sizes of rubelite, peridot, amethyst and honey citrine beads shape the gold ring. Inspired by Volute, an antique code which underwent a Versace modern makeover, this piece is repeated in 3 or 4 successive rows set with diamonds for a sparkly feel – creating a connection between your inner energy and the spiritual power of gems.
The finest Italian craftsmanship and Versace’s pure DNA come together to result in a collection of captivating and bold jewelry creations. Scroll through the Photo Gallery to view Azyaamode x Versace photo shoot that captures the essence of these bold masterpieces.
