An entirely renovated Chanel boutique reopens at the heart of London’s luxury district, Mayfair. Watch and jewelry enthusiasts will rejoice, as the original single floor was expanded to take over three floors or 418 square-meters.
Located on 173 New Bond Street, the interior – like all of Chanel’s boutiques – has been recreated by famed New York-based architect Peter Marino. The new reinterpretation of the space has given it a new dimension, to highlight the creativity and artisanal know-how that are at the heart of the house’s DNA.
Drawing inspiration from Gabrielle Chanel’s Parisian house on Faubourg Saint-Honoré and her apartment at 31, Rue Cambon, the boutique elegantly combines intimacy and refinement. It features interior design works and antiques that give it a unique residential atmosphere.
Coco Crush, Sous le Signe du Lion and the new Première Boy watch are all on display. To celebrate the re-opening, the boutique will also showcase an exclusive “Camélia Solaire” diamond and pearl set of high jewelry, especially created for the occasion by the in-house studio, in addition to some of the most creative Chanel high jewelry pieces. Two unique diamond-set versions of the new Chanel Premiere Boy watch will also be made available.
