“To be lucky, you have to believe in luck,” as Jacques Arpels used to say. Luck has always guided the footsteps of Van Cleef & Arpels and inspired some of its most iconic designs. The first Alhambra long necklace saw the light in 1968, in a fusion of yellow gold and the Alhambra motif’s pure lines. After meeting immediate and huge success, the motif has become a lucky emblem of the house. Keeping with this vision, new Sweet Alhambra creations join this collection, with a selection of new materials and original models.

Interpreting joyful symbols in miniature form, the Alhambra motif comes to light in a precious lightness thanks to creased pink gold. Already used in the Perlée® and Vintage Alhambra collections, this technique depicts the lucky charm with a shimmering relief effect. Crafted from a mix of gold, copper and silver exclusive to Van Cleef & Arpels, the metal is in contrast with the polished finish of the central golden bead.

This aesthetic adorns three new designs – a ring, a bracelet that features six motifs and a long necklace adorned with sixteen motifs – while a pendant, earrings and a bracelet complete these novelties. In addition, the sparkling diamonds make an appearance for the first time in this collection, making it even more special. Staying true to its standards of excellence, the house has selected stones of the highest quality.

Charming and simple, a woman couldn’t get any luckier!
