The Barbie doll is known for being one of Moschino’s favorite muses and it was no wonder that the brand collaborated with this iconic company and created the highly anticipated collector Moschino Barbie with an exclusive eight-piece ready-to-wear collection.
Available on Net-A-Porter, Moschino’s Creative Director Jeremy Scott brought all the brand’s signature features to this doll – which has already sold out - by dressing her in a slogan t-shirt, logo trimmed mesh knitwear and a quilted faux leather bomber jacket with a pencil skirt. The Barbie is adorned with Moschino’s classic accessories, such as the faux leather cap and the shopping bag. In addition, the doll finishes off her look with mismatched earrings, layered necklaces, sunglasses and Moschino’s signature lettered chain belt.
Jeremy Scott, Creative Director at Moschino says, “I wanted to bring all of the Moschino elements to Barbie, as I had done the reverse by bringing all of the Barbie elements to Moschino for the SS15 collection. The thing I love most about Barbie, is that she is the ultimate muse, she’s worn every style and design imaginable and at the same time she’s had every possible profession you can dream of. With Moschino having had such a long and successful relationship with NET-A-PORTER, it simply wasn’t a question of who to partner with for this.”
